What actually closes that gap isn't the video quality, it's whether you can show your own work and get corrected on it — recording your stitching, sending a photo of a cut piece, asking on a live session why something isn't sitting right, and getting a real answer back. A course that only sends you lessons without that loop will feel exactly as distant as you're afraid of. One built around actually checking your work, even remotely, ends up closer to hands-on than you'd expect. Ask specifically how that correction happens before you join, not just whether classes are 'live.'
